February 2025 Recap: A Month of Love, Hustle, and Wins

February 2025 has been a whirlwind of emotions, achievements, and lessons. From celebrating love and family to shipping a new product, facing challenges in my coaching business, and making strides in my fitness journey, this month has been a testament to the beauty of balance. Let me take you through the highlights of my February, broken down into digestible sections.

Celebrating Love: The Lovers Month

February is often dubbed the “month of love,” and this year, I made sure to honor that title. My wife and I celebrated our 8th anniversary of being together, a milestone that fills me with immense pride and gratitude. Eight years of companionship, growth, and unwavering support—how did we make it this far? Compatibility, mutual respect, and a shared vision for our future have been the bedrock of our relationship.

Our daughter, Hawaa, has only strengthened our bond. She’s the glue that keeps us grounded and reminds us daily of the beauty of family. This month, we took time to reflect on our journey, celebrate our love, and create memories as a family. Whether it was a simple dinner at home or a day out exploring, these moments were a reminder of what truly matters.

A Busy Month of Hustle: Shipping the African Startups Directory

While love was in the air, so was the pressure of deadlines. As promised, I shipped a new product this month: the African Startups Directory. This tool is a passion project close to my heart, designed to organize and showcase startups across Africa in their respective categories.

What Makes This Directory Unique?

Unlike other directories, this one is completely free to use. No sign-ups, no personal information required—just pure, unfiltered access to information. My goal is to make it easier for stakeholders, investors, and enthusiasts to discover the incredible work being done by African startups.

Additionally, the directory serves as a platform for startups to launch their fundraising campaigns. By putting these startups in front of the right audience, I hope to bridge the gap between innovation and opportunity. If you’re a founder building in Africa, I encourage you to get listed on the directory. More perks and features are on the way, so stay tuned!

The Journey to Launch

Building this tool wasn’t without its challenges. Tight deadlines meant late nights and early mornings, but the satisfaction of seeing it come to life made it all worth it. The African Startups Directory is more than just a tool—it’s a contribution to the ecosystem I deeply believe in.

The Coaching Rollercoaster: A Month of Lessons

On the coaching and consultation front, February was a humbling month. I experienced a 100% bounce rate, with only one client locking in for March 2025. At first, this was disheartening, but I quickly reminded myself that business is never linear.

Embracing the Ups and Downs

The coaching industry is highly competitive, and client acquisition can be unpredictable. While this month didn’t go as planned, it taught me the importance of resilience and adaptability. The tide goes up, and the tide goes down—what matters is how you navigate the waves.

I’m using this experience as fuel to refine my offerings, improve my outreach, and provide even more value to my clients. After all, every setback is a setup for a comeback.

NenoPress: A Bright Spot in the Month

If there’s one area where February shone brightly, it’s NenoPress. This month, we hit a significant milestone: our 10th signup! While this number may seem small, it represents the trust and belief of early adopters who see the potential in what we’re building.

New Team Members, New Momentum

Another win for NenoPress was the addition of new technical team members. Brian, Allan, and Jeff—three elite developers with tons of experience—joined the team. Their expertise and passion have already started to make a difference, and I’m confident that we’ll be able to ship features at lightning speed.

If you haven’t signed up for NenoPress yet, now’s the time! Be part of the first 100 users and claim your badge as an early adopter. We’re gearing up for some exciting updates, and you won’t want to miss out.

A Sugar-Free February: Fitness Wins

On a personal note, February was a month of discipline and growth in my fitness journey. I committed to a sugar-free lifestyle, avoiding all forms of processed sugar. No sweets, no sugary drinks—just clean, wholesome eating.

Breaking Personal Records

I also kept up with my jogging routine, pushing myself to new limits. On February 6, 2025, I ran my longest distance yet, a milestone that filled me with pride. Then, on February 21, 2025, I burned the most calories in a single session. These achievements are a testament to the power of consistency and determination.

Fitness as a Lifestyle

Fitness has become more than just a goal—it’s now a part of my identity. Jogging clears my mind, keeps me energized, and reminds me that progress is possible with effort and patience. If you’re on a fitness journey, I’d love to connect and share experiences. Let’s keep each other motivated!

Looking Ahead: March 2025 Goals

As February comes to a close, I’m already setting my sights on March. Here’s what I’m aiming to achieve:

  1. Market the African Startups Directory: I plan to ramp up marketing efforts to get more startups listed and attract stakeholders to the platform.
  2. Grow NenoPress: My goal is to reach 50 signups by the end of March. With the new team members on board, I’m confident we can make it happen.
  3. Stay Sugar-Free: I’m committed to maintaining my sugar-free lifestyle and continuing my jogging routine.
  4. Revamp Coaching Efforts: I’ll be refining my coaching strategies to attract more clients and provide even greater value.

Final Thoughts: A Month of Balance

February 2025 was a month of love, hustle, and growth. It reminded me of the importance of balancing personal and professional life, embracing challenges, and celebrating wins—no matter how small.

To my readers, thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’re building a business, working on your fitness, or navigating life’s ups and downs, remember that progress is a process. Keep pushing forward, and don’t hesitate to reach out and share your story.

Here’s to an even more impactful March! Cheers!
