January 2025 Recap: Progress, Lessons, and What’s Next

A Commitment to Consistency

At the start of this year, I made a resolution to build and launch a micro-app every month. This deliberate action aligns with my goal of creating tools that benefit startups, especially those I coach. It’s not just about shipping products—it’s about solving real problems for entrepreneurs and continuously refining my approach. January was the first test of this commitment, and I’m excited to share what I accomplished, what I learned, and what’s coming next.

Launching NenoPress: The AI-Powered Blogging Assistant

The highlight of January was the launch of NenoPress, an AI-powered blogging assistant designed for creators. The idea was simple: automate the tedious aspects of content creation—writing, optimizing, and publishing—so that creators can focus on growing their audience and business.

Why NenoPress?

I built NenoPress because many of the startups I coach struggle with consistent, high-quality content creation. Blogging is one of the most effective ways to build brand authority, but it’s time-consuming. NenoPress integrates AI to streamline the process, making SEO-friendly content creation effortless.

For now, NenoPress is tailored for WordPress blogs. Starting small allows me to perfect the experience before expanding to other platforms. Early-access users can use it for free, providing valuable feedback as I refine its features.

Imagine cutting down content creation from hours to minutes. That’s what NenoPress is all about.

Technology Behind NenoPress

The platform integrates OpenAI API and DeepSeek to assist with content generation and research. These tools ensure that generated content is insightful, well-researched, and engaging. In the future, I plan to expand integrations to include LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter), making it easier for users to distribute their content seamlessly across platforms.

Lessons from Building NenoPress

Building NenoPress taught me several key lessons, particularly in payments and onboarding. I quickly realized that most Payment Service Providers (PSPs) have excessive friction in their processes.

These are just two of many. I believe these email exchanges need to be automated to make the customer journey smooth.

However, Paystack stood out. The entire onboarding process was smooth, from account setup to deployment. I didn’t need to interact with a single human—just followed their crisp-clear documentation. The seamless experience was a breath of fresh air compared to the bureaucratic hurdles presented by other PSPs.

Growth and Future Plans for NenoPress

So far, I have one paying customer, and I’m looking forward to growing this in February. To increase adoption, I’m considering bundling NenoPress with my coaching services. This way, clients don’t just get strategy advice—they also get a tool to execute those strategies effectively.

Registering Eliday Solutions Limited

Another major milestone in January was registering Eliday Solutions Limited.

Last year, I missed out on amazing opportunities simply because I didn’t have a registered company. That won’t happen again. Moving forward, I’ll transact strictly as a business entity rather than as an individual.

For anyone looking to register their company, feel free to reach out. I’ve also written a blog post outlining the process, which you can check out here: Company registration/incorporation guidelines.

Startup Coaching Progress

On the coaching front, I secured one new client in January. This was an engineering company, which presented unique challenges and learning experiences. The client was super pleased with the service, reinforcing my belief that hands-on, tailored coaching can make a significant impact.

Health and Fitness: Keeping the Balance

Success isn’t just about business—it’s about maintaining overall well-being. That’s why I make it a priority to run every morning.

January was a bit slow, but I still managed to clock over 50 kilometers in total. In February, I aim to increase that distance and build greater consistency.

Looking Ahead: February’s Micro-App and New Opportunities

With January behind us, I’m already looking forward to building and launching my second micro-tool for February. The experience from NenoPress has set the stage for a more refined approach in my next project.

Additionally, I’m open to more coaching clients and excited about the opportunities that will come through Eliday Solutions Limited.

This journey is just beginning, and I’m excited to see how the year unfolds. Here’s to a productive February!

If you’re building something, let’s connect.
